Carole Bressan

A French painter with a poetic vision at Le Cube Vernet Gallery

Born in 1973, Carole Bressan is a contemporary French painter trained at the University of Rennes 2. Since 2005, she has been exhibiting her works in France and abroad. Her work explores the landscape beyond aesthetics, considering it as an "emotional territory," a mirror of feelings and an expression of the human state of mind. She states: "I seek to read the poetry of the world in order to rewrite it differently."

A technique at the service of emotion at Le Cube Vernet Gallery

Carole Bressan uses primer (gesso) and acrylic paint on linen canvas, finished with a satin varnish. Her works are characterized by textures and colors that intertwine with strength and movement, creating vibrant and expressive compositions. She prepares her canvases with primer, then uses palette knives and brushes to navigate the surface, layering colored washes that bring transparency and depth.
