About the Artist:

Carme Magem is a Catalan artist born in 1959, specialized in painting and collage. Her work focuses on expressive portraits, often of women, inspired by iconic figures such as Frida Kahlo or Marilyn Monroe. In parallel to her art, she has been a midwife since 1981.

Carme Magem has exhibited her works in numerous galleries, both in Spain and internationally, notably in Oman, the United Arab Emirates, New York, and Singapore.

Her artistic approach seeks to capture the depth of human emotions, exploring the hidden universes behind every glance and every expression.
