About the Artwork:
Original artwork by the artist Damien Demaiter, an abstract creation where dark shades dominate, notably gray, black, and deep blue. These colors are enriched by subtle touches of white and metallic reflections, adding soft and contrasting light. The rich and detailed textures evoke a sense of raw material, reminiscent of mineral or rocky landscapes.

“Expansive, sincere, and free, Damien Demaiter, before establishing his studio in Hauts-de-France, knew from a very young age that painting would be 'his words,' and that his freedom of expression would pass through the canvas of a stretcher or the paper of a sheet.”
Damien Demaiter is a prolific and intuitive artist, whose artistic journey is marked by a constant search for new vibrations to enrich his path and share his emotions. Trained at the École Renoir in Paris, he developed a unique and organic artistic vocabulary, combining intricate graphic lacework, punctuation, and the plastic abstraction of forms and chromatic impacts.
His work is characterized by disarming sincerity and a vision merging impact and escape. After unexpected and fruitful encounters, he freed himself from academic techniques to adopt more instinctive methods, blending abstraction, typographism, and symbolism. His work reflects a profound freedom of expression, conveyed through canvas and paper, demonstrating his commitment to communicate and engage with his audience.
