Carme Magem is a Catalan artist born in 1959, specializing in painting and collage. Her work focuses on expressive portraits, often of women, inspired by iconic figures such as Frida Kahlo or Marilyn Monroe. Alongside her artistic career, she has also worked as a midwife since 1981.
Carme Magem has exhibited her works in numerous galleries, both in Spain and internationally, including in Oman, the United Arab Emirates, New York and Singapore.
Her artistic approach aims to capture the depth of human emotions, exploring the hidden universes behind every glance and expression.
