Biographie

A precocious artist, he composed his first drawings and pastels at the age of 10 and exhibited his first bronze sculptures at the age of 12.

Today his nude subjects no longer shock anyone, yet at that time in the religious college he attended, beyond the erotic character for which he was criticized, drawing teachers would say of him that he was talentless and that his drawings are too simplistic.

He reveals an innate sense of balance and generous form that can be found throughout his already long career.

He expresses in his works somewhat provocative carnal sensations which make him a very talented and very noticed young designer.

In 2004, he obtained a baccalaureate S but decided to stop his studies to fully live his passion. Lolek begins with canvases in dry pastels crushed by finger on paper, then works with bronze with lost wax.

His works have a unique style enhanced with high quality patinas.

Originally his clean and ample forms allow him to create without mastering techniques and easily make his sculptures stable; this “immaturity” will give it a style and ink its artistic signature.

Today it is inseparable from his work.

LOLEK permanently exhibits Place des Vosges in Paris, throughout France, Europe and the United States since 1998.

LOLEK is a sculptor artist listed in Drouot.
