Carme Magem is a Catalan artist born in 1959, specializing in painting and collage. Her work focuses on expressive portraits, often of women, inspired by iconic figures such as Frida Kahlo or Marilyn Monroe. Alongside her art, she has been a midwife since 1981.
Carme Magem has exhibited her works in numerous galleries in Spain and internationally, notably in Oman, the United Arab Emirates, New York, and Singapore.
Her artistic approach aims to capture the depth of human emotions, exploring the hidden worlds behind every gaze and expression.
