About the artwork:
Original artwork by the artist Elia Pagliarino, depicting a classical female figure surrounded by modern graphic elements. Her luminous face contrasts with a rich background of animal motifs, colorful collages, and architectural drawings. A finely detailed dog accompanies the composition, reinforcing the connection with nature and the symbolism of Diana, goddess of the hunt. Combining tradition and contemporary aesthetics, the work explores femininity and animality with a vibrant and contrasting style.

“We should not fear ambiguity — we must embrace differences.”
Elia Pagliarino is a French visual artist born in 1967, whose work explores identity, appearance, and collective memory. Coming from a background marked by diversity and disability, she draws inspiration from ethnology, biology, and popular culture to create works combining drawing, sculpture, and ceramics. After a career in graphic design and scenography, she has devoted herself fully to art since 2014.
Her work stands out through collections such as Balises©, ceramics preserving life stories, and Contes Sauvages, large drawings depicting an exuberant human bestiary. Winner of the Pure Art Prize in 2017, she continues to explore new artistic forms from her studio in the Aude region.
