Biographie

Lolek, Contemporary bronze sculptures | Galerie Le Cube Vernet

A precocious talent and a strong passion

Born on May 14, 1984 in Boulogne, Lolek showed an extraordinary artistic talent at a very young age. At 10, he created his first drawings and pastels, and by 12 he was exhibiting his first bronze sculptures. This early artistic maturity earned him both admiration and controversy, particularly within the religious context of his school, where his drawings were considered too bold. From the very beginning, Lolek established himself as a distinctive sculptor, whose work is marked by a strong visual identity and a constant search for balance in form.

An independent and self-directed artistic path at the Le Cube Vernet gallery

Despite criticism, Lolek persisted and refined his style. His sculptures are characterized by generous forms and an innate sense of balance. His works convey an assertive, sometimes provocative sensuality that quickly attracted the attention of art lovers and collectors.

In 2004, after obtaining a scientific baccalaureate, he chose to abandon academic studies to devote himself entirely to his passion. He began by exploring soft pastels on paper before turning to bronze, which he works using the lost-wax casting technique. His intuitive approach allows him to create a unique style in which the purity of form and the stability of his sculptures become his signature.
