About the artwork Mattino di luce:
Original work by the artist EVITA ANDUJAR. Mattino di luce depicts a young woman in a white shirt, her hair gathered in a bun, sitting on a bed bathed in the morning light streaming through the window. In the foreground, a bouquet of pink and yellow roses in a glass vase and a cup complete this intimate and peaceful scene.
The Italian title, in which mattino means morning and luce means light, sums up the spirit of the canvas: the soft light coming through the window envelops the figure and the white sheets. The young woman, her hand raised to her face, gazes outside, lost in thought. A palette of whites, creams, soft greys and touches of pink, applied in loose and expressive brushstrokes, gives Mattino di luce a calm and luminous atmosphere.

About the artist:
Evita Andújar is a contemporary Spanish painter born in 1974 in Écija, Andalusia. Her work explores the human figure in a state of fluidity, between presence and disappearance, questioning identity, memory, and perception. Trained at the Academia de Bellas Artes de Sevilla and influenced by classical techniques she masters perfectly, she merges realism and dissolution to create fragmented, moving images. Her works, exhibited internationally, offer a poetic and sensitive reflection on the complexity of the human being, between appearance and inner life.
