About the artwork:
Original artwork by the artist Elia Pagliarino, created using a double-firing process, this Balise is inspired by Fazenda Provisão, a historic site in Bahia, Brazil, which preserves the culture of cocoa and the rich heritage of the era of the “Coronels” (large landowners).
Monday afternoons 2:30 p.m.–7 p.m. & Tuesday to Saturday 10:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.–7 p.m.
About the artist:

Elia Pagliarino is a French visual artist born in 1967, whose work explores the notions of identity, appearance, and collective memory. Coming from a background marked by diversity and disability, she draws inspiration from ethnology, biology, and popular culture to create works that combine drawing, sculpture, and ceramics. After a career in graphic design and scenography, she has devoted herself fully to art since 2014.
