About the Artist:

Magdalena Morey is a contemporary Polish artist born in 1974, now based in Spain. Trained at the Fine Arts School in Lublin, she draws inspiration from her travels between Poland, England, Switzerland, and the natural landscapes of Asturias. She works with mixed media — acrylic, watercolor, pastels, and gold leaf — to create highly emotional and intuitive artworks.

Her art, often abstract or semi-figurative, explores inner transformation, resilience, and our connection to the living world. She paints without a sketch, in a free and expressive gesture, guided by emotions and light. Each canvas becomes a space for sensory and spiritual exploration, where the material tells what words cannot always express.
