About the artist:

Magdalena Morey is a contemporary Polish artist born in 1974, now based in Spain. Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lublin, she draws inspiration from her travels across Poland, England, Switzerland, and the natural landscapes of Asturias. She works with mixed media — acrylic, watercolor, pastels, and gold leaf — to create artworks with strong emotional and intuitive impact.

Her art, often abstract or semi-figurative, explores inner transformation, resilience, and our connection to life. She paints without a preliminary sketch, in a free and expressive gesture guided by emotions and light. Each canvas becomes a space for sensory and spiritual exploration, where the material tells what words cannot always express.
