The artist sculptor notably studied with David Reid (foundry), as well as Chrystèle Legardinier (copper engraving) and he worked for the studio of the American sculptor Jeff Koons. The artistic, plastic and innovative technique approach of contemporary sculptor Olivier Duhamel, whose wood and acrylic sculptures are visible in Avignon in the contemporary art gallery Le Cube Vernet

Metamorphosed into statues, the now fixed forms of his models retain their movement, their own expression with constant attention to detail. By allowing itself to be pierced by the light, acrylic reflects the essence of vitality of the body. Similarly, the reflections of the wood, depending on the angle observed, modify the appearance of the material. These materials, whose strength and rigidity are opposed a priori to the flexibility and natural movement of the flesh, on the contrary bring to life, under the hands of the sculptor Olivier Duhamel, the curves of these women, and the plastic of these men, whose aura, personality and beauty are fully celebrated.

Quote from sculptor Olivier Duhamel:

"Through my creations, I focus on the effort to capture the beauty and sensuality of my subjects of study. In art, I am mainly interested in the beauty, the emotion and the mastery of my techniques . I hope my creations enchant more than they provoke "
