About the artwork:
Original artwork by the artist Elia Pagliarino, created using a double-firing process, dedicated to Erik Satie, the minimalist and eccentric composer (author of the “Gymnopédies” and “Gnossiennes”). He lived in seclusion, his heart broken by his only romantic relationship. Avant-garde and playful, he was associated with the Dadaists and composed the scandalous ballet “Parade”. His musical scores, often annotated with humor, reveal a constant melancholy.
