Original artwork by the artist Elia Pagliarino, created using a double-firing ceramic process, evokes the story of a young tea master determined to revive the ancestral art of the tea ceremony for new generations. Through an iconography combining portrait, dragons and tea leaves, the work celebrates a cultural heritage in transformation.

About the artist:

Elia Pagliarino is a French visual artist born in 1967 whose work explores notions of identity, appearance, and collective memory. Coming from an environment shaped by diversity and disability, she draws inspiration from ethnology, biology and popular culture to create works combining drawing, sculpture and ceramics. After a career in graphic design and scenography, she has devoted herself entirely to art since 2014.
